"Fountain of Child Rights"

Childhood, the first step of a life, has its monument from Monday, November 20, 2000, in the landscaped grounds of Fontvieille.

A fountain, more precisely, inaugurated by Prince Albert II as part of the Second Day of Human Rights of The Child. Made of travertine marble by Italian sculptor Franco Maschio, she was offered by the association "Les Enfants de Frankie".

The clown character is the ideal metaphor to apply to both children and adults. The clown is apolitical and does not distinguish between races and religions. This clown is surrounded by five children, symbol of the five continents. As for water, it remains the ultimate sign of life and fluidity leads to plaque engraved with the Rights of the Child.

For the inauguration of the "Fountain of Universal Children's Rights", the Association organizes a Gala at the Sporting Monte-Carlo.

Several celebrities attend, each involved in the project by giving their signatures, all etched in stone sculpture.

This event was presented by Mike Bongiorno representative of Italy, for France Linda Hardy and Ewan McGregor for Great Britain.

« Mission Rêve »

Our association organized a unique event called 'MISSION REVE'. Begun in June 2002 and completed a year later in June 2003. The event allowed us to achieve 56 dreams of seriously ill children in the Pediatric Wards of the Archet II Hospital in Nice, the Hospital of Antibes Juan les Pins and the Association SPESS AUSER Italy.

Patroned by the late Prince Rainier III, in the presence of HSH Crown Prince Albert, major sports stars and singers such as Mickael Schumacher, Luca Laurenti, Fabien Bartez, Zinedine Zidane and by many members of our association: the 56 dreams were all terminated within a year: June 5, 2003, in front of a packed audience and in the presence of HSH Prince Albert, Sponsors and many of the implicated children, who were able to finalize all these dreams...

View the dreams

To that at the end of the night

There is the day

To that end the suffering

There is love

For fear of dying

Be replaced by life

For fear of the future

Be replaced by projects

We created it year ago,

"Mission Rêve"

"The story of the little star"

It is with great pleasure that Trau Bros - Scintilla Monaco - Sight holder since 1947 of the famous Diamond Trading Company, takes part in the community life of our Principality by supporting the incredible project of our association, by the donation of a unique 72 diamond necklace pattern of twelve star shaped flowers. A starry diamond flower ... twelve exceptional ambassadors... the gift of oneself to help suffering children.

One little diamond shaped star, elegant emblem of this fight for Children, will travel to faraway places ... Monaco, Mozambique, Gabon, Belgrade, Prague, Morocco, Italy, Princeton, Tel Aviv, London, Paris, Monaco.

The return into the Principality around an exceptional Gala evening on the 6th of December 2007, will close this generous course of a year work, invested in twelve missions symbolized each of them by twelve ambassadors, to be transformed into a majestic and unique necklace, shaped evocatively as the lozenge shape emblem of the Principality that gave it life ...

If we are happy to share this project with all of you, we are also very honored to support our Sovereign, HSH Prince Albert II, which gives our necklace a special elegance by signing personally this exclusive work of art.

"The Wheelchair Foundation & Frankie's Children - 2005"

560 Wheelchairs were awarded in partnership with the Wheelchair Foundation USA.

The aim of this action was to support people with disabilities and to facilitate their daily lives.

During the previous six months we presented our project to various Hospitals and Associations in Monaco and the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur Region. As a result of this proposal, several Institutions benefitted and responded to their needs.

On the 10th of October that year during an Official Opening Ceremony held in front of the Monaco Palace, in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II and Princess Stephanie, the first 35 wheelchairs for a Monegasque Associations as well as the Princess Grace Hospital were given. Then during the following months on the 23rd of November 400 wheelchairs were handed out to the "Center Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice", which divided them between the other five Hospitals of our Region, to improve patient care. The rest of the 125 wheelchairs were given during the month of December and offered to all the Educational Institutes in the Region.
